Description
Crisp and refreshing with underlying aromatics of tropical fruits, lemon and lime. The refined minerality giving the wine a more linear feel and allowing a balanced palate weight and mouth-watering length.
Anthony Girard, an endearing and energetic young winemaker, started his own production in 2012 after completing his training at the family estate. Attached to its Sancerre roots, he set up in Récy, a hamlet in the south of the appellation and takes on 8.5 hectares on excellent soils. Two thirds of these are composed of ” caillotes ” (Sancerre limestones) bringing freshness and fruitiness to its wine and a third of flint for power and minerality.
