Description
Domaine Bousquet Malbec is a certified organic Malbec from the high-altitude vineyards of Tupungato, in Argentina’s Uco Valley, Mendoza. Deep violet in colour, it is juicy and generous, with ripe plum and blackberry fruit and soft, elegant tannins.
Tasting notes
Intense aromas of blackberry, red and blackcurrant and plum lead to a palate of ripe plums, gentle spice and a smooth, rounded finish. A modern, fruit-driven Malbec that is easy to enjoy on its own and even better with food.
About Domaine Bousquet
Domaine Bousquet was founded by the Bousquet family, winemakers from the south of France who fell in love with the high-altitude terroir of the Uco Valley at the foot of the Andes. Its vineyards sit at around 1,200 metres above sea level, where cool nights, strong sunlight and dry air give fresh, pure fruit. The estate is farmed organically and is one of Argentina’s leading organic wine producers.
Food pairing
Serve at 16-18°C. A natural match for steak, grilled lamb, burgers, beef stew and roast meats, as well as hard cheeses.
