Description
Teeling Blackpitts is a non chill filtered, Peated, single malt whiskey, aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and sauternes wine casks. The use of the sauternes casks brings in deep fruit flavours which perfectly compliments the bourbon notes and smoke. 46% ABV.
Taste: Applewood smoke, honey, all spice, stewed pears and grilled pineapple.
Nose: BBQ smoke, cloves, butterscotch and orange peel.
Finish: salted caramel, wood and savoury smoke.
