The wine
Fat Bastard Sauvignon Blanc is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the grape behind some of the world’s most popular fresh white wines. It is made in the same bold, generous spirit as the rest of the Fat Bastard range, with plenty of fruit and character at a friendly price.
The brand started in the south of France when winemaker Thierry tasted a Chardonnay from a barrel left on its lees and called it a real “fat bastard”.
Food pairing
Serve well chilled with seafood, shellfish, fresh salads and light dishes. It is also a good aperitif and works with goat’s cheese and spicy Asian food.
