Blackwater No. 5 is a small-batch Irish London Dry Gin from Blackwater Distillery in Ballyduff Upper, Co. Waterford. Distilled from pure spirit, soft local water and twelve botanicals, it balances confident juniper with bright coriander, warm cinnamon and zesty lemon. Crisp, clean and elegant.

The story behind No. 5

The recipe was inspired by the 19th-century archives of White’s of Waterford, one of Ireland’s biggest spice importers. Blackwater built No. 5 using only botanicals that were once brought into Ireland by the company: ten classic ones and two rare additions.

Tasting notes

• Aroma: fresh white pepper and juniper, with citrus and floral touches
• Palate: coriander, lemon peel and warming sweet spice
