Irish milk gin from Cork
Bertha’s Revenge is distilled by Ballyvolane House Spirits in Co. Cork using whey alcohol from local dairy farmers, natural well water and an interesting mix of locally foraged and exotic botanicals. It is named after Bertha, a famously long-lived Irish cow.
Tasting notes
- Nose: juniper leads, followed by the spicy, warming notes of cardamom and cumin and sweet citrus
- Palate: the whey alcohol base brings a smooth, rounded texture, with sweet orange, coriander and pepper
Perfect serve
Premium Irish tonic with a slice of orange or a sprig of fresh mint.
