Quercus Petraea – the Irish Oak most commonly used for brandy and wine production. We’ve chosen to source the wood from Slovenia which is synonymous with Italian wine production and is traditionally said to impart a slightly sweeter characteristic than their French counterparts. 46% ABV.
Nose: Sweet vanilla, caramel and green apple, lemon sherbet with hint of sweet almond.
Taste: Sweet woody oak
Finish: Crème Brulee, black pepper and soft tannin.
