Description

The type of yeast used during the fermentation process determines whether a beer is a lager or an ale. Lagers use yeast that ferments at the bottom of the beer mixture, while ales use yeast that ferments at the top. Wild or sour ales are made with yeasts that spontaneously ferment. After determining whether your beer is a lager or an ale, the taste, color, and aroma of the beer determine the further distinction.

  • Amber IPA barrel-aged with Brett for dryness, complexity, and oak barrel tannins.
  • Galaxy was used as a dry hop.
  • It has 5.8% alcohol by volume (ABV).
