Description
Tormaresca Chardonnay 2025 is a fresh and fruity 100% Chardonnay from Puglia in southern Italy, made under the Puglia IGT by Tormaresca, the estate project the Antinori family started in the region in 1998.
After harvest the grapes are gently pressed, then fermented and aged in stainless steel until bottling. No oak is used, which keeps the wine light, bright and focused on its fruit. It is a clean and easy-drinking style of Chardonnay at 12.5% ABV.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with greenish hues. The nose offers pineapple, peach and green apple, with floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom, plus a touch of citrus. On the palate it is savoury, sleek and refreshing, with lively acidity and a fruity, clean finish.
Food pairing
Lovely as an aperitif and with light dishes: vegetable and vegetarian cooking, salads, seafood, white fish and white meats. Serve well chilled, at around 8-10°C. Best enjoyed young and fresh.
