Perusini Friulano 2024
Perusini Friulano is a distinctive expression of one of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s most characteristic native white grape varieties.
Produced by Azienda Agricola Perusini in the Friuli Colli Orientali area, this Friulano comes from vineyards planted on ponca soils, the marl and sandstone formations characteristic of the eastern hills of Friuli.
The wine is fresh, dry and savoury, with the delicate almond character traditionally associated with Friulano alongside floral and citrus nuances. Its mineral and saline character gives the wine freshness and makes it particularly versatile at the table.
In the winery, the grapes are gently destemmed and briefly macerated before soft pressing. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, followed by time on the fine lees.
A versatile Italian white wine, Perusini Friulano works particularly well with seafood, light starters, fresh cheeses and regional Friulian cuisine.
