Chateau Notre Pere — Bordeaux

Organic Bordeaux is rarer than it should be. Notre Pere farms organically across the Entre-Deux-Mers, making five wines: a Bordeaux Rouge, a Bordeaux Superieur, a Bordeaux Blanc, an Entre-Deux-Mers and a Cremant de Bordeaux made by the traditional method.

The Entre-Deux-Mers is the one to start with – Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle, fermented in stainless steel, no oak. It’s the kind of dry white Bordeaux that got forgotten while everyone was looking at the reds.
