Description
Distilled from corn and malt, this grain spirit was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Amarone casks. Grain barrels from 2010-2011 and 2012 were skilfully blended in equal parts, creating the perfect harmony and balance from competing influences of bourbon, oak and Amarone in this mellow whiskey. 46% ABV.
Finish: Long lasting sweetness from fruits and velvet texture; almost mouth-watering yet a dry finish.
Aromas: spice, liquorice, vanilla then honey with a twist of lemon, ripe peach, kiwi, and cinnamon oak.
Flavour: Smooth silky soft texture, honey and cinnamon sweetness, fruit cocktail, light chocolate.
